Why are file downloads so slow?
Q. I resently upgraded my dsl to a faster service. I used speedtest and it does show that I have faster service about 1000 kb/s but my file downloads are still the same as before, about 200-300 kb/s. Also their is no improvement in netflix online movie speed. Any ideas how to fix this.

A. File downloads not only rely on your connection speed but the connection and bandwidth of the server you are downloading from. Try doing multiple files at once.

Which website would you recommend for free file downloads?
Q. This includes games and programs. Torrents iso etc... It must be reliable and no spyware or viruses.

A. No doubt about it, www.Mininova.org is the best, Releaselog = www.rlslog.net is most upto date.

Is there any way to resume large file downloads with mozilla?
Q. I'm trying to download some game demos which are huge (over 1GB). Every time I try it times out, even though I'm downloading pretty fast. Is there anything I can use to make it resume if it times out?
